If you’re looking for a playful, diverse setup and love to jib, Schwarzwald is the place to be. Because that’s exactly what park designer Jure Gradic and his team built up at Seebuck. “The range of boxes and rails is pretty big, and it definitely provides something for everyone”, film maker Benedikt Rufer says. Photographer Martin Herrmann was really hyped by the volcano at badenova Snowpark Feldberg: “This one’s super nice! The riders showed a downright ‘flip-massacre’ on there!” The shredders responsible for such peaceful carnage are all coming from the local scene and know the park like the backs of their hands. Anna Cordes, Annika Bartmann, Dennis Enderle, Jan Berdt, Jure Gradic, Lucas Herrmann, Lukas Kortmann, Navina Kintzel, Raphael Baermann, Sarah Heinrich and Shun Yoshida were killing it and provided the media crew with some sweet shots.
Both, photographer and film maker, were super happy about the high riding level and Martin was especially stoked about having so many shredgirls at the shooting: “It’s not all that common that a real girl gang shreds with the guys. This was really cool!”
And it’s becoming ever more common, as Annika, shredsista and girl gang member explains: “It’s really cool that you get to meet more and more girls at the park. You know each other from the QParks Girls Shred Session. That makes it easy to get talking and shredding.”
Annika was extremely happy after the shooting which “didn’t even feel like a shooting”, as she put it. “We just had a really nice session with many folks. Martin shot here and there, pushed us riders and gave useful tips as well. That was cool.” The shooting couldn’t have come at a better time because Annika said that she and the girls thought of taking out the cameras themselves for a while now. Needless to say the pros came in handy: “The media crew simply manages to capture the great time we have at the park.” Asked what her favorite obstacle was, Annika took some time and explained that the waterfall rail is the most fun feature because it’s not easy at all and gives you a good feeling if you manage to slide it completely.
Snowboarder Shun Yoshida was as stoked as Annika: “It was super rad, we had tons of fun and the whole crew was shredding together once again. It was a really cool day!” Shun especially likes to ride the transfer rail because the small rail is perfect for practicing but you can also do more difficult stuff if you take on the transfer. To conclude, Shun has nothing but love for the shape crew: “The guys really planted a great setup in the park!”
By now, the weather conditions don’t allow the whole setup anymore which is why the mode of badenova Masters Feldberg on Saturday, 25th of March, 2017 has changed! The contest will change into a Shred Poker, so it’s got everything that makes an all day long relaxed park session; one feature selected for a collective shred session combined with awesome sounds and free barbecue!
