And it really was one kind of a season finale. After a short break there was super sweet slush in the Snowpark Obergurgl and the riders were blessed with top spring conditions. Every participant had three runs to convince the judges, the best run counted.
The finale of the groms was dominated by a Brit. Gape Adams had the most style and beat Lukas Frischhut and Kuhar Ozbe to second and third place. The ladies category was lead by a very well known name. Federica Sola won before Emma Lantos and Adriana Salis. In the category Snowboard Men the Carinthian Felix Widnig took first place. With a 50-50 to Switch 50-50 on the Doubleking Rail he also won the Best Trick Award. Till Stromeyer and Gape Adams took the second and third place.
Today you will read one name more often than any other: Daniel Bacher. In the Groms category he won before Elias Wechner and Florian Pale. His run also helped him to win the second place in the category Freeski Men. He was beaten by Micha Hilbert. Michael Bienz took the third place. Only on the ladies’ podium he wasn’t seen. There the 11 years old Muriel Mohr was able to convince the judges. She won before Victoria Ressel and Greta Staudacher. Benedikt Reimeier won the Best Trick Award with a Nosetap 450 on the Lollipop.
Winner of the Best Trick Award, winner of the day of the tour finale and overall winner of the QParks Tour finale. Felix Widnig really sweeped the board today. He had the most points, followed by Till Strohmeyer and Gabe Adams. Frederica Sola won – unsurprisingly – in the category Snowboard Ladies. She won before Emma Lantos and Amber Fennell. In the category Grom Men there was no third place, but two second places. Kuhar Ozbe and Lukas Frichhut had the same number of points and ended the season ex aequo on the second place. They were led by Gabe Adams.
Also in the Overall list one name was omnipresent. Daniel Bacher won in the category Grom Men before Florian Pale and Elias Wechner. Daniel Bacher was also the best in the category Freeski Men. The Tyrolese had the most points in the QParks Tour rating. Micha Hilbert and Leon Ernhofer took second and third place. The ladies category was led by Muriel Mohr. She won before Victoria Ressel and Greta Staudacher.
