23.07.2010Even on the Dachstein winter takes an end – for now!

After the great Dachstein Summer Opening on the 12^th of June where the who-is-who of parkriders came together at perfect bluebird weather, crews, cameramen and photographers from all possible regions have sent their riders up to the mountain-tops during the 1 1/2 months for collecting great and stunning footage. We have featured many of these outcomes here on the parkwebsite as well as on our facebook page. However, to publish all of them would have been just too much for our small editors team in summer. Nevertheless, you are welcome to post your videoclips, photos, texts whatever here in our user-area or onto our facebook wall.

We ourselves have contributed the topping of the season with a special obstacle shooting, the MULTI–CUBE, where now the entire gallery has been uploaded for you.

To make it clear: this weekend is the LAST chance to ride the park. Till Sunday, the beginnerpark as well as 2 downrails, a picknicktable and the 9 m Rainbow will stand ready for your last slides of the “endless winter” on the Dachstein. The deconstruction works will start on Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.

Although the weather-forecast for the weekend is a little lousy, don’t be wussies! Let’s ride it hard once again and pay tribute to the Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein through some last summer-rides!

RÉSUMÈ

We are happy to say that in all the years we have never encountered such a nice and friendly atmosphere up in the park. We saw many new friendships, people coming together to shred the glacier and then meeting again at the Ramsau beach - as perfect as summer can be! We don’t want to get too cheesy now, but it really fills our “Qhearts” with joy seeing the QParks community growing and it is our biggest reward to see that you like what we are doing here in the Alps. Thanks to all of you and spread the message: Shredding is all about friends, fun and freestyle!

But heads up, there’s a silver line on the horizon, and this line beats everything you’ve seen before: coming this autumn, from November 12^th – 14^th, the 8^th HORSEFEATHERS PLEASURE JAM will as always sound the bells for the winterseason! We hope to see y’all there again for happy times!
