QPARKS Tour 2010/2011 – DATES AND FACTS!

You are a motivated rider and want to call attention to international media and industry? You want to get sick prizes and compete with other freestylers? – Here is your chance, the QParks Tour 2010 is ON!!
Last week we introduced this unique international freestyle tour, now it’s time for some dates and facts:
FACTS
- international freestyle tour - 19 snowboard and freeski contests - 10 snowparks – 3 countries
- 10 snowboard / 9 freeski stops
- 2 events are official tour stops of the Shred Down Austrian Masters, at 3 events you can gather TTR points
- categories: men, women, rookies
- sick prize money in total of EUR 40.000.-, a lot of goodies from the event partners and qualifying spots for other events
TOURMODE AND QUALIFICATION
All 9 contests are - until the end of April - qualification events for the big final at the end of the season. The goal is to collect as much points as possible. The given points at each tour stop will be allocated as followed:

| 2. Place: 25 Points | 7. Place: 8 Points |
| 3. Place: 20 Points | 8. Place: 6 Points |
| 4. Place: 14 Points | 9. Place: 4 Points |
| 5. Place: 12 Points | 10. Place: 2 Points |
Qualified for the finals are:
- the best 30 snowboard men,
- the best 30 freeski men,
- the best 10 snowboard girls and rookie girls,
- the best 10 freeski girls and rookie girls,
- the best 10 snowboard rookie men,
- the best 10 freeski rookie men.
We will also assign wild cards!!
THE FINAL
The big final will take place in May as a two-days event. The snowboard event will take place on the first day, the freeski event on the second day.
At the finals the points are getting tripled:

THE OVERALL WINNERS OF THE TOUR
Overall winners of the QParks Tour of each categories are those who gathered the most points in the qualifications and the tour final. In case that two or more riders get the same amount of points, the prize goes tho the rider who participated at more tour stops.

THE QPARKS TOUR RAFFLE - VOTE FOR YOUR RIDER
No matter if rider or spectator, everybody can win at the QParks Tour! The riders have the chance to collect “Likes” with their online profile. The rider with the most “Likes” at the end of the QParks Tour wins a 2-weeks Balicamp trip! But the “voters” can win as well: among them a 2-weeks Balicamp trip will be raffled, as well as a lot of sweet goodies from the sponsors at the particular event. Click here for more details.
ENTRY FEES
For all contest participants there are no entry fees. The riders get the starting numbers on site at the registration. The starting number has to be worn visible at the right upper arm.
CONTEST FORMAT AND RATING
The winners of the single categories will be determined by several runs in form of a Slopestyle- resp. Halfpipe competition. The contest takes place in several runs, qualifications and finals, in which the boys and girls have enough time to show the variety of their ridings. Priority for the rating is on the performance of the shown tricks in the whole run (safety, flow, difficulty of the tricks, height), as well as on the variability of their trick-series.
