In a relaxed and easy-going atmosphere, all girls can either work on their first tricks or simply push their freestyle skills. But they don’t have to do that on their own, because professional coaches provide all participants with valuable tips and tricks and make sure that progression is on the program! And the cherry on top is that it’s completely free! Furthermore, a free lunch as well as goodies from NIKITA, Golden Ride, Blue Tomato, eivy, Protect Our Winters and Boardriding are waiting for all girls.
Doesn’t matter whether you rock it on skis or if you rather like to send it on the snowboard, all shredqueens can join the Girls Shred Sessions! As long as you know how to safely ride down a slope (in other words, if you manage your way to the park without any problems) and if you’re not afraid of one or another harder landing, nothing’s standing in the way of a day full of freestyle and new shred-friends. By the way, there aren’t any age limitations, as long as the motivation is high, all girls are welcome!

This season once again, five stops are on the list of the Girls Shred Sessions. And what else should mark the starting point of the shred tour across the Alps if not the Snowpark Obergurgl – the only park “shaped by girls only”. On December 21, 2019, just in time for the Christmas holidays, the shredqueens will take over the Ötztal valley to celebrate the beginning of the shred season with style!
After that, it’s time to double the female freestyle power! At the Blue Tomato Girls Day at Superpark Planai the Girls Shred Sessions will partner up with Blue Tomato and their team riders. Therefore, February 1st, 2020 is definitely the day all girls in eastern Austria (and beyond) should mark bright in their calendars.
The next stop goes down on February 15, 2020 in the Zillertal valley. Last year, more than 70 shred chicas took over the Penken Park in Mayrhofen and this year again, the girls will have a hold on the hotspot of the European freestyle scene. But that’s not all, because Kim from Wild Path Yoga will deliver some good vibes with her shred-fit yoga warm-up, too!
Then, grab your bags, skis and boards and don’t forget to tell your friends, because it’s time to head to Italy! On February 29, 2020 the Girls Shred Sessions visit Snowpark Schöneben. That means that all those who are in the mood for shred sessions in combination with some dolce vita should definitely save this date!
On March 7, 2020, all shredqueens can look forward to a royal finish of the season! The last stop of the shred tour comes along with an audience with the King. To be more precise, we’re talking about the shred session at the Blue Tomato Kings Park Hochkönig, of course! Together with Blue Tomato team riders you can rip the park once more and let the season come to a worthy end!
Climate change challenges us in our way of living and therefore, sustainability especially in winter sports is more important than ever! In order to set an example for climate protection, the Girls Shred Sessions joined forces with Protect Our Winters and want to present ways on how to reduce your carbon footprints on the mountain. The „share your ride“- campaign helps with connecting girls to facilitate offering and finding car sharing opportunities. This way we want to enable all girls to save resources on their way to the resorts.
