stanton park – Freestyle paradise on the Arlberg
07.03.2019

Located right in the middle of the majestic Tyrolean Alps, the stanton park has proven for more than a decade, that the Arlberg is not just known for amazing powder runs, but also as a pardise for all freestylers!

5 lines and 35 obstacles make sure that stanton park is the perfect playground for all shredheads out there! Parkdesigner Jure and the crew of the Shape Academy made sure that the park doesn’t just look sick as hell! No, it’s at least as shredable, too!

For about 12 years now, there has been a strong connection between two-times Olympic athlete Andy Gohl and stanton park. After all, Andy discovered his passion for freeskiing right here at Stanton park and that’s also where he learned all his tricks. And his passion has led him to many international contests so far. Still, stanton park remains his home base!

But it’s not all about competitions and ranking. Every rider can have a blast at stanton park! Take those guys for example: Simon Holzi and Fabian Fraidl are sending it all over the place. Doesn’t matter whether it’s a steezy frontboard on a rainbow rail or a huge bs 3 on the big kicker, everyone will find his favorite obstacle! And honestly, who’s not getting in the mood for a shred session while watching this video?!

But no matter how you look at it, in the end it’s all about the fun! Freeskiers as well as snowboarders, beginners and pros – for all of us it’s the same. We wanna shred the park with friends and chase this one perfect line that stokes the hell out of us! And that’s what freestyle should all be about – like here in this awesome gunfire-edit! Enjoy!
