Summer break is coming closer
13.04.2021

We are coming to the end of another exceptional season. Almost all QParks have gone on summer break. All but one. The SKYLINE SNOWPARK Schilthorn will remain open until April 25 and will give riders a few more rad days before summer arrives at Schilthorn.

All is still right with the world in our Swiss QPark. Bluebird, slushy spring conditions and a really rad setup.  SKYLINE SNOWPARK Schilthorn is truly the place to end the 2020/21 season with a banger. Our words are not enough for you? No problem, here we have the video proof.

Here we would like to show you a Vimeo video.

QParks on summer break

SKYLINE SNOWPARK is actually the last QPark still open. The rest has already gone into summer break. This winter was once again very different from what we first expected and hoped for, but we are really stoked that we were still able to build some parks this season and offer the Alps a good portion of freestyle again.

One thing is for sure: We will be back! The next season will come for sure. And until then we wish you a really great summer!

Eliska isn’t your typical shaper in the snowpark. Along with shaping obstacles in the Sölden Snowpark, she’s also responsible for capturing and sharing its story on social media. From shaping the park’s features to snapping the perfect shot for Instagram and Facebook, Eliska combines her passion for snow and storytelling. We caught up with her to get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s really like to be a Multimedia Shaper in a snowpark.

“It was back in the 90s. We were fanatic snowboarders, constantly roaming the surrounding hills, building kickers wherever possible. Bad Religion and NOFX were blasting from our battery-powered cassette player. With our camcorder, shovels and boozy tea we had everything we needed and it was a damn awesome time.”
