The ultimate packing list for a perfect shred day

Everyone knows the situation. You've just arrived at the mountain and you remember: "Oh, I forgot my ski goggles" or "I hope I'm not freezing". Something like that can spoil your day - no matter whether you spend it @ the Alta Badia Snowpark, Funslope, Kidslope or Funcross. That's the reason why we put together the ultimate packing list so that you won't get into this situation so quickly and can concentrate fully on your shred session:

Basics – Prepared from head to toe

  • Backpack
  • Functional ski base layers (merino)
  • Ski socks (now also available heated)
  • Fleece jacket/fleece sweater
  • Ski pants
  • Ski jacket (softshell or hardshell)
  • Buff
  • Hat or Beanie
  • Gloves (Mittens: especially for cold days)

Ski Gear

  • Helmet including goggles (orange lenses = bad weather; dark lenses = good weather)
  • Ski boots or snowboard boots
  • Skis or snowboard with bindings
  • Ski poles (if necessary)
  • Back protector

Drinks & Food

  • Thermos jug with hot tea inside
  • Bottle of water
  • Energy bar
  • Snacks for breaks

First Aid – Safety First

  • First-aid kit
  • Blister pad, Tape

Toiletries

  • Sun and cold protection
  • Lip balm (w/spf in it)
  • Tissues
  • Contacts/Glasses
  • Hand santisizer
  • Face mask (FFP2)

The Penken Battle is back again and is a Freeski- and Snowboard Slopestyle Contest held in cooperation with Ski- and Snowboard Austria and Freeski Innsbruck. It’s an official FIS cup and is open to everyone!

A strong mindset helps you overcome obstacles, make continuous progress, and handle challenges effectively. Here’s how you can specifically improve your "mental game."

Eliska isn’t your typical shaper in the snowpark. Along with shaping obstacles in the Sölden Snowpark, she’s also responsible for capturing and sharing its story on social media. From shaping the park’s features to snapping the perfect shot for Instagram and Facebook, Eliska combines her passion for snow and storytelling. We caught up with her to get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s really like to be a Multimedia Shaper in a snowpark.

On 08.03.2025, the Lech Snowpark will be transformed into the ultimate playground session for all freestyle enthusiasts! The legendary Active O2 ShredPoker is all about action, style and community. The motto: Show off your best tricks, get the loudest crowd reaction and stack chips like a real champion!

“It was back in the 90s. We were fanatic snowboarders, constantly roaming the surrounding hills, building kickers wherever possible. Bad Religion and NOFX were blasting from our battery-powered cassette player. With our camcorder, shovels and boozy tea we had everything we needed and it was a damn awesome time.”
