The QParks Tour celebrates its comeback to Snowpark Alta Badia and at the same time it’s going to be a premiere! After all, the Rookie Battle Alta Badia is the first-ever QParks Tour Stop exclusively for freeskiers and snowboarders under 18 years!

On February 9th, 2020 the Rookie Battle Alta Badia promises a massive next generation slopestyle-showdown, when young talents from all over Europe will gather at Snowpark Alta Badia. Terrific prizes such as goodies from POW Gloves, Amplifi and QParks and some cash as well as free snacks and drinks from Red Bull are waiting for all participants. Furthermore, riders can collect important points for the QParks Tour overall ranking and the World Rookie Rank.

Therefore, all young talents should mark this day in their calendar.

The Penken Battle is back again and is a Freeski- and Snowboard Slopestyle Contest held in cooperation with Ski- and Snowboard Austria and Freeski Innsbruck. It’s an official FIS cup and is open to everyone!

Eliska isn’t your typical shaper in the snowpark. Along with shaping obstacles in the Sölden Snowpark, she’s also responsible for capturing and sharing its story on social media. From shaping the park’s features to snapping the perfect shot for Instagram and Facebook, Eliska combines her passion for snow and storytelling. We caught up with her to get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s really like to be a Multimedia Shaper in a snowpark.

“It was back in the 90s. We were fanatic snowboarders, constantly roaming the surrounding hills, building kickers wherever possible. Bad Religion and NOFX were blasting from our battery-powered cassette player. With our camcorder, shovels and boozy tea we had everything we needed and it was a damn awesome time.”
