The creative playground at Passo Resia will get a completely new concept. Over the years, the XL Snowpark grew to a remarkable size. Now the crew will focus even more on the quality of the Snowpark Schöneben: With a thoughtful line-management and a bunch of new ideas, the Italians want to ensure more fluent runs and fine sessions. At first glance, that means less takeoffs at the park. But if you take a closer look, you´ll see a couple of highlights coming at the Snowpark Schöneben!
Here we would like to show you a Vimeo video.
There won´t be a lack of airtime at Schöneben, that´s for sure. In total, there will be even more kickers than last season! Only the levels of the jumps will be different: Beginner kickers will be reduced, but the number of medium jumps will rise and an advanced kicker will be the cherry on the top. Even though there will be less beginner jumps at Schöneben, rookies don´t have to worry. The easy line will still be an important part of the Snowpark but instead of a line of small kickers, it will be a mixture between kickers and snow waves. That way, beginners can show some creativity while doing their first steps in freestyle.

Those, who prefer jibs over kickers won´t be disappointed either. Because this year´s highlight of the park will be without any doubt the nine-meter-long FORST rail. That is a pretty fine triple kink mailbox designed like a beer bottle of the South Tyrolian brewery FORST, which is brought to all shredders by the brewery itself. The flashy rail is a symbol for the cooperation between two South Tyrolian evergreens: Schöneben and Forst. And the triple kink mailbox is pretty rad to shred as well.
For the first time ever, the Girls Shred Sessions will stop at the Snowpark Schöneben! On February 29, motivated shredqueens make themselves comfortable at Passo Resia and will have a fine session together with freeski and snowboard coaches. Of course, free drinks and lunch are also part of the session. The Girls Shred Session in Schöneben is the only one of its kind in Italy, by the way. Italian shredqueens should better save the date!
It is not new, but it is legendary: The Shred Poker Schöneben! This fine event will air on March 28. There, riders can earn poker chips while shredding a massive multijib obstacle, which can be traded for cash and goodies after the session. But it won´t end at the Chips for Tricks session, afterwards all riders are welcome to join the BBQ, where they can have a fine meal for free. The last Shred Poker at Schöneben made QParks history, by the way. With 55 riders, it was the best attended Shred Poker ever!
Action is guaranteed at Schöneben this winter. And there´s just a little more time to pass until the first session in Schöneben is on! Whoever wants to get the latest info about the Snowpark Schöneben should have a look at their website, Facebook Page or Instagram Account.
