Lucky Numbers at Shred Poker Diedamskopf 2023
Good hands and even better tricks
19.04.2023

Season end was all about the gamblers, who went all in at the annual Shred Poker highlight on the Diedamskopf. On Saturday, 08.04.2023 motivated riders from near and far have again proven their skills and picked up massive chips. There were no bluffs and checks on this day - the highs of the day have skimmed. What exactly happened at Shred Poker 2023, you can read here:

What the heck is white out! According to the saying "no matter the weather" the crème de la crème of the Vorarlberg freestyle community gathered on 08.04.3023 for the annual highlight in the Diedamspark. Around 10:00 am the first riders came together for the registration and the warm-up. After that it was time for the riders meeting to inform everyone about the Shred Poker and everything worth knowing about the multi-obstacle. The setup left nothing to be desired. The Shapecrew around Felix Herzog spared no effort and created a fine multi-feature with a straight and down tube on the left, a straight down rail on the right, a diagonally installed butter box and a central cannon tube for a proper pop.

After the first loops, the poker match began at 11:30. The Riders impressed with gnarly tricks. Extra chips were given for tricks that the speaker threw into the pot in advance, such as from the butter box to a rail or over the cannon pop to a tube. The vibe was wild as Freeskiers, and snowboarders were competing for two hours.

On the final table Felix, Lukas, Benny and Constantin as well as Anna were looking forward to a heads up at the outdoor casino. Felix Schwendinger and Anna Cordes were the undisputed champs. Event manager Julian Teufel was happy that 28 shredders were at the start.

After the winners were chosen, it was time for the most popular part of the event, the more than deserved Chill & Grill with BBQ buffet à la fresh drinks & crispy sausages.  The riders could win depending on the chip count helmets from TSG and goodies from Pinetime, QParks, Boardriding and the Bergbahnen Diedamskopf.

“It was back in the 90s. We were fanatic snowboarders, constantly roaming the surrounding hills, building kickers wherever possible. Bad Religion and NOFX were blasting from our battery-powered cassette player. With our camcorder, shovels and boozy tea we had everything we needed and it was a damn awesome time.”
