The QParks Tour is Europe’s largest rookie contest tour and as such, it has roamed the Alps for the last couple of years winter after winter. And the Tour Stop at Mayrhofen is definitely one of the highlights of the contest-season. At Penken Battle, the riders are welcomed by a massive park and a motivated, international freestyle-community. Here, the young freestylers show off their skills and their style to bag points for the victory of the day.

Win over the judges with your performance on the slopestyle setup. During the qualification runs, the freestylers shred for the desired spots in the finals on a creative combination of kickers and jibs. The winners then bag a total of 1000 € in cash. Also, the Best Trick Award which is worth 100 € will be given to the freeskier/ snowboarder who shows the radest move of the day. At the end of the season, a big voting will go down, where all Best Trick Award-winners of the QParks Tour get the chance to win a surf vacation for 2 at Free Spirit in Ecuador. However, that’s still not all! Pinetime, Amplifi and QParks sponsor some fine goodies for the riders, worth more than 500 €.

Look forward to the familiar, easy atmosphere at Penken Battle with good vibes only. All riders get some snacks, cold and warm beverages and it won’t cost them a single penny/dime/cent/whatever. You’ll always find a spot at the Chill-out-Area to relax after the runs, hang out with other shred heads and simply enjoy your time at Penken Park.
However, at Penken Battle it’s also about winning important points for various rankings. Both, freeskiers and snowboarders fight for points for the QParks Tour overall ranking. The best riders of the contest-series obtain a ticket for the grand tour finale at the end of the season at Snowpark Obergurgl. At Penken Battle, snowboarders can score some points for the World Snowboard Points List, the World Rookie Ranking and the Austria Cup Tour. The riders on twintips win points for the TSV-Cup and the Freeski Austria Tour.
And that’s how the Penken Battle will go down:
