The final of this season’s Girls Shred Sessions was indeed a royal one. Why? The ladies dropped by at Blue Tomato KINGS Park Hochkönig and definitely turned it into the Queens park for the day. About 60 motivated girls came up to the park and joined the big girls shred sessions season ender. So far so good, yet the weather just wouldn’t sit on the Shredqueen’s side. But when you have attended a Girls Shred Session before, then you know that freestyle ladies won’t be stopped by odds and ends like snowfall or wind. And this is why, the Blue Tomato Girls Day Hochkönig again delivered good vibes and a huge amount of girls’ power!

Not only the participants, but also freeski coach Patrizia Holzmann seemed to be very stoked by the session: “It’s been really cool to see how motivated the girls were. Some of them rode boxes for the first time in their life this morning and in the afternoon, they already tried the tubes. It’s unbelievable how quick the girls made progress!” Those of you who can’t believe it, have the chance to convince themselves by watching the Freeski Edit.
The snowboarders also had the chance to push their shred skills during the Blue Tomato Girls Day Hochkönig. There was no doubt about the favorite obstacle of the day: “Tubes are simply awesome! You can try so many tricks on them and get a feeling for them step by step” says Lisa, one of the participants. She was happy that she could finally add the Frontboard to her trick list thanks to the helpful tips of snowboard coaches Lea Baumschlager, Tini Gruber and Nicola Reinthaler. The Blue Tomato crew also joined the shred fest and took care of the energy supply. Fruit, tea, hot dogs and more delicious snacks were served and helped the girls to move on to the second coaching session of the day. But this isn’t all – at the end of the day, all the shred ladies had the chance to take home some sweet Blue Tomato goodie bags.
