QParks stands most and foremost for a life for freestyle and snowparks as well as for rider events and shootings. We want to give you an impression on how we were hustling during the season when we weren’t shredding our parks. So, we are starting our recap with some earth-shattering figures. In the last months, we had the pleasure to have a (sh)rad time with you during 20 events– like the QParks Tour Stops, the Girls Shred Sessions, our beloved Shred Pokers and the Coaching sessions. Together with more than 650 shred heads and shredqueens, we celebrated freestyle, gave away several truckloads of fine goodies and cashed out €50K during the QParks Tour.
Yeah, we had some big highlights this season. To give you an impression, we’d like to move your highly appreciated attention towards a few mega monster sessions of this outstanding winter.
We had the pleasure to bring some legit freestyle action to Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn this season. We’re happy about an awesome first season at Snowpark U-Bahn which gave us the opportunity to host the first QParks Tour Stop after dusk. Have a look and check out the Lit Night Jam recap!
At Superpark Planai, all shred heads had the chance to co-create their playground. To appreciate their effort, we raffled a pair of Oakley goggles. Together with his crew, Park Designer Pavel developed three concepts for an obstacle reconstruction and then, it was in the riders’ hands to choose which one was going to be implemented. This is the obstacle the community voted for.
For 10 years now, QParks calls the Dolomites its home. This definitely asked for a birthday party at Snowpark Alta Badia. The legendary shred crew – the “Pirates of the Dolomites” – jumped on that train and organized their yearly “Shred Feast” in honor of their QPark.
Last but not least, we highly recommend you to re-live the Game of Diamonds at Snowpark Obergurgl. The grand finale of the QParks Tour impressed with a fine setup and bluebird skies. Once again, the Diamonds of the Alps hosted a rad season final in the Ötztal.
Now, all we have left to say is a massive thank you for this incredible season! It’s always the biggest pleasure to celebrate freestyle together with so many riders from all over Europe. Sharing our dedication and passion for this sport with you guys is our driver!
Just before the season ends, it’s worth having a look at our park overview. This way, you can find out which parks are still open for slushy spring sessions. Other than that, we’re already looking forward to next winter. Because, season's only over until we start over again – For Freestyle!
