The Penken Battle is entirely for the spirit of the community. The good old classics like Red Bull and tea and delicious snacks are provided to keep you fueled for good times.

Again, there are legendary goodies to be won for the Best Trick Awards. The prize money for this year tops everything with a total of 2,500 euros, which will be divided between the participating categories. Nitro, GoPro and TSG have surprises in store again this year and are offering epic non-cash prizes.

At the end of the day, the Penken Battle crowns the winners with a worthy award ceremony where prizes and prize money are distributed - of course, the whole thing is also captured by professional photographers and filmers for your sponsors and socials.

The FIS and the ÖSV are on board again this year

The Penken Battle has been partnered with the Ski- and Snowboard Austria and the FIS since 2023. The quality of the park will blow you away mentally and push your skills to new levels. The setup is remarkable with its creativity and perfectly shaped features and ensures tons of airtime and awesome rail sessions.

The Penken Battle is a FIS CUP, meaning participants can stack up FIS points and get ranked in the official FIS register. These FIS points are worth gathering; they’re your ticket to Europe and World Cups. Apply for your personal FIS code in advance from your regional association and catapult yourself into your professional freestyle career.

Note that the event is open to everybody; you don’t have to be registered with FIS to participate!

Freestyle snowboarding and skiing require much more than just physical skills. While technique, timing, and body control are essential, the mental aspect is often the decisive factor when it comes to learning new tricks. A strong mindset helps you overcome obstacles, make continuous progress, and handle challenges effectively. Here’s how you can specifically improve your "mental game."

Eliska isn’t your typical shaper in the snowpark. Along with shaping obstacles in the Sölden Snowpark, she’s also responsible for capturing and sharing its story on social media. From shaping the park’s features to snapping the perfect shot for Instagram and Facebook, Eliska combines her passion for snow and storytelling. We caught up with her to get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s really like to be a Multimedia Shaper in a snowpark.

“It was back in the 90s. We were fanatic snowboarders, constantly roaming the surrounding hills, building kickers wherever possible. Bad Religion and NOFX were blasting from our battery-powered cassette player. With our camcorder, shovels and boozy tea we had everything we needed and it was a damn awesome time.”

Around 70 contestants, perfect weather and breathtaking tricks in a beautiful setup - all this was combined at this year's Plan P. Here you can find the most important information and results of Plan P 2025!
