Heads up at Shred Poker Diedamskopf
All-in or nothing
11.04.2022

On 27.03.2022 the cards were reshuffled in the Diedamspark. In glorious sunshine, the super-motivated riders were able to show off their skills and went all-in. Find out who won the big stack and how the poker match went here:

The day could not have been chosen better. The Blue Bird sky provided good vibes right from the start. The time change was the only "enemy" on this day, which is why the event started a bit more slowly. Around 10:00 a.m., the first people gathered for registration and the warm-up. Then it was off to the riders' meeting to inform everyone about the course of the Shred Poker and the selected obstacles. The setup left nothing to be desired. The shape crew around park designer Nicolas Bucher had been working on a multi-feature with two high flat rails on the sides and a flat tank in the middle as well as a down rail and down box for days. During the take-offs, the participants could score points with fat jumps, spins and flips, prove their creativity and put the much-coveted poker chips in their bags.

After the short introduction, the poker match started at 11:30 am. The riders impressed with crazy tricks such as a front flip out or a 270 in & out. Full house - both girls and boys played for a good two hours!

After the mega-shred session, it was time to determine the chip leaders. At the final table, Marius, Mario, Hannes and Corinna were looking forward to a heads up in the outdoor casino. Marius Reck scored the royal flush of the day on his twintips and went home with a whopping 200 euros. Shaper Mario Jimeno de Miguel and Hannes Klenner convinced on the snowboard and won 125 Euros. On the girls' front, Queen of Spades Cornelia Rüscher fought her way to the top. Event manager Luki Draxl even ran out of chips.

After the winners were chosen and everyone gave their best, it was time for the more than deserved Chill & Grill with a decent BBQ buffet à la fresh drinks and crispy sausages. The Blue Bird Day was finalised in the chill area with fine beats. In addition to the fat prizes, the riders could win vouchers from Blue Tomato, TSG helmets and win goodies by QParks, Amplifi and Bergbahnen Diedamskopf.
