This year SKYLINE SNOWPARK Schilthorn starts into its lucky number 7 season. After six very successful winter seasons the playground has become a mandatory part of the idyllic swiss mountain town Mürren. Season after season it lures Freeskiers and Snowboarders from distant places but also neighboring towns into the ski area around the Piz Gloria.

It was the premier of park designer Jiri Skalicky last season, his piloting project in the SKYLINE SNOWPARK Schilthorn was a successfully completed so he has most definitely secured his spot to come back this season. Him and his team are all very ambitious and talented Freestylers and Shapers and are looking forward to presenting a perfectly shaped park with rad Obstacles and super chilled Lines: “I’m really looking forward to the upcoming winter season and hope, that everything will work out just fine!”

The park designer Jiri stated: „The shape of the park is basically a given with it’s three parts. I am looking forward to finishing up the entire set up, as that wasn’t possible last season.
Especially the third part, as that’s where we can get really creative”. That the Rona has changed so many plans last season, is no secret. It also explains, why the park shapers in Mürren are looking forward to a way longer season this winter and are very excited to let out their full potential.
They stacked up their to do list for this season! Next to around 30 obstacles the infamous Kicker-Lines, Jib Wallrides, Rainbow Tubes, Jersey Barrier Jibs, Flat Rails and many more are going to be absolute bangers!
There’s extra good news for all airtime lovers from Jiri: “I am super happy that we can extend our Advanced Jump! I have big plans for the Big Line, let’s see what this winter brings!”
To prevent last year’s happenings regarding Covid-19, this winter season 2020/21 will be very different. For example, new safety measures and concepts have been set up – these will also be implied on the entire ski-area Schilthorn and the SKYLINE SNOWPARK. Because of these well thought through rules we can start safe and super stoked into this winter season! The ski-resort and the Snowpark Schilthorn are ready to go, the green light has been given according to cantonal regulations.
